CNBLUE heading Down UnderMelbourne concert – 31 May, Sydney concert – 1 June A K-Pop rock band CNBLUE is heading Down Under to hold a concert in Melbourne on 31st of May and in Sydney on 1st of June respectively, as part or their world tour “Blue Moon”. Their world tour began in this month starting in Taiwan and Singapore, and continuing in Thailand, Hong Kong and more. They also plan to hold a concert in Korea on May 25-26 in Seoul as well. CNBLUE’s Blue Moon is the Korean band’s first world tour. Their concerts in Australia are presented by JK Entertainment who have organised a variety of K-Pop performances including the landmark 2011 K-Pop Music Fest and sponsored by the Korean Safari, “A Window into the priceless virtual Korea”- www.koreansafari.com.au, a subsidiary of TOP Media Group.
CNBLUE was formed in 2009, consisting of Jung Yong-hwa (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Lee Jong-hyun (lead guitar, vocals), Lee Jung Shin(bass guitar, wrap) and Kang Min-hyuk(drums, vocals). CN is an abbreviation of ‘Code Name’, while BLUE is an abbreviation of the members’ individual images: Burning, Jong-hyun; Lovely, Min-hyuk; Untouchable, Jung Shin; and Emotional, Yong-hwa. The group released four teasers for their 1st Korean mini album Bluetory starring one member per each of the videos in the sequence of Jonghyun, Minhyuk, Jungshin and lastly, Yonghwa on the 6th, 8th, 11 and 13 January 2010 respectively. On January 14, 2010 CN Blue debuted their first mini-album in Korea with the lead single "I'm a Loner".

CNBLUE extends concert dates in AustraliaCNBLUE has been confirmed for a second show in Australia at an iconic venue which has hosted rock legends AC/DC and The Beatles. CNBUE has added one more show in Melbourne to their world tour schedule. The news come after the group announced that the 2013 CNBLUE Blue Moon World Tour would be headed to the Philippines earlier last week. The Melbourne show will be held on Friday 31 May, 2013 at the iconic Festival Hall, which has hosted rock legends AC/DC and The Beatles. More information on the Melbourne show here. The second show is a second addition to the Sydney show which has ‘sold well’. The Sydney leg of the concert will take place at Luna Park’s Big Top 3,000 seat venue. COVERAGE; CNBLUE: Once in a Blue Moon JK Entertainment, the concert organisers in Australia, contacted hellokpop today to share the good news. “Ticket sales have opened with a great start and the artists are very excited about the Australia concert,” Miji Kim of JK Entertainment said. Kim also revealed plans to bring more K-Pop artists to the land down-under after the company’s success at bringing 11 K-Pop groups in 2011, which included an all-star list of K-Pop celebrities such as Girls’ Generation, TVXQ, miss A and 2AM. “We are planning to bring another K-Pop concert at the moment (sic).
